چکیده
The low microbial flocculant yields and efficiencies limit their industrial applications. There is a need to identify bacteria with high bioflocculant production. aim of this study was isolate bioflocculant-producing bacterium from activated sludge wastewater characterise its activity. identification the isolated performed by 16S rRNA gene sequencing analysis. optimal medium composition (carbon nitrogen sources, cations inoculum size) culture conditions (temperature, pH, shaking speed time) were evaluated one-factor-at-a-time method. morphology, functional groups, crystallinity pyrolysis profile analysed using scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) thermogravimetric (TGA) identified as Proteus mirabilis AB 932526.1. Its were: sucrose (20 g/L), yeast extract (1.2 MnCl2 (1 pH 6, 30 °C, inoculation volume (3%), (120 rpm) for 72 h cultivation. SEM micrograph revealed be amorphous. FTIR analysis indicated presence hydroxyl, carboxyl amino groups. completely pyrolyzed at temperatures above 800 °C. has potential produce importance.

متن کاملIsolation and Identification of Anionic Surfactant Degrading Bacteria from Activated Sludge
Linear alkylbenzene sulfonate (LABS) is an anionic surfactant widely used all over the world. They will eventually end-up and accumulate in household or industrial sewage. Due to their high foaming capabilities which can cause numerous problems in sewage treatment facilities as well as direct toxic effects on many different organisms in ecosystem they are generally considered as serious polluta...
متن کاملIsolation of floc-producing bacteria from activated sludge.
Although the activated sludge process for stabilizing liquid organic wastes is primarily a biological process, very little research has been conducted on the pure biological phases of this process. Until the work of Butterfield (1935), activated sludge was considered by some as a physio-chemical process and by others as a bio-chemical process. Butterfield isolated a bacterium, Zoogloea ramigera...
متن کاملSludge Characterization of an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant, Iran
Background and purpose: Disposing sludge from industrial wastewater treatment plants (IWWTPs) is a serious issue because it can affect human and animals health, and also environmental quality. In this study, sludge from an IWWTP was analyzed regarding its physicochemical characteristics and disposal options. Materials and Methods: Grab sampling was used to collect 12 sludge samples biweekly (Ma...
